Yep when you see the title Hate Worldwide next to the word next Slayer you pretty much no what to expect. So I'm just going to say it right off the bat the lyrics are complete and utter dog shit, yes I know I should say jouvinile, or cringe enducing but frankly that's too kind because these lyrics are total wank and Kerry King should be banned from ever writting any future Slayer tracks. "My scars insane, My life profane, I deny, defy and spread a little hate worldwide" I mean seriously guys grow up, your old enough. I mean I'm all in favour of a little tongue in cheek fun but this is just floggingly the life out of a poor horse that died long ago. How angry can one man be? Guitar wise it's punky Slayer, it throws punches faster than Amir Kahn and is a tight little rocker, it's not a classic by any means but musically this is good single materiel. With plenty of room for headbanging and bouncing off the walls. Unfortunately it's nothing more than a mere throwaway it's about as creavitive and fresh as a Nickelback track. Slayer have earned the right to do whatever they want and rest on their laurels but here's to hoping there next offering is a little more relevant.
