I'm gonna be lazy and skip out the pre lims that I'm not overly interested in but this should be good. I know the results in advance so no prediction record on the line but I've been looking forward to this for ages!

Middleweight Bout
Yoshihiro Akiyama (12-1) vs. Alan Belcher (13-4)

Round One: Belcher looks to work the leg kicks from the get go but can't land. Akiyama misses a lightening roundhouse kick. Belcher fights on the outside intially before getting aggresive and coming with a body kick. Belcher switches stance. Belcher catches Akiyama with a brutal brutal brutal low blow that knocks Yoshihiro off his feet and he crawls to his corner, the replays of that are just horrible, you can really feel it. Belcher is aggresive and loose but can't connect. Belcher hits a lovely counter right but Akiyama replies with a nicely little flurry. Belcher returns to working the leg kick, Akiyama is being very ellusive. Belcher catches Akiyama plum with a left hook and Akiyama goes down but pops right back up and escapes the clinch. Looked like Akiyama was cuaght off balance rather than properly knocked down. Akiyama hits a nice head kick right hand combo. Akiyama hits a superman punch and then both men throw some bombs, great exchange. Belcher has a kick coutnered adn he gets taken down but Belcher uses the Armu-plata to defend himself well.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Akiyama that was so close and very entertaining but I give Akiyama the edge for being more controlled but of course Belcher was more aggresive if I could score it a tie I would.

Round Two: Akiyama catches another kicka dn gets a lovely takedown but Belcher does a lovely sweep and goes for a leg lock but Akiyama counters and gets side control. Superb mat exchange. Belcher gets back to full guard. Wow this is such an evenly matched fight. Akiyama fakes and then hits a nice straight punch from guard. Akiyama's ground and pound is pretty weak and the fight has lulled. Akiyama tries to pass but Belcher attempts another sweep and gets to his feet. Akiyama hits a straight right and alovely uppercut. Belcher misses a wild head kick, but connects with a hard leg kick. Belcher's leg kicks are really starting to have a noticable effect. There's alot of swinging and missing going on. Both men have there hands down and look cocky. Belcher lands a hard straight right but Akiyama shakes it off and Belcher follows it with a big leg kick, three of them.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Belcher he really stepped it up in that round with some superb ground defence negating Akiyama's takedown. Belcher's leg kicks have been devistating but Akiyama is showing he has a good chin

Round Three: Belcher is going all out for the leg now, and Akiyama is moving very slowly, showing his age. Akiyama blocks a head kick, in the first round he'd of stepped away from that. Akiyama unloads with a nice inside flurry to show he's still alive. Akiyama catches another kick and responds with some nice jabs. Belcher lands a nice counter right, Akiyama's eye has closed up, the commentators suspect it was an eye poke. Belcher hits another hard leg kick. Akiyama hits a nice spinning back kick. Akiyama beautifully dodges a roundhouse and hits a counter right hand. Akiyama counters a kick with a straight right hand, both men exchange rights and lefts. Belcher hits the leg kick but Akiyama floors him with a straight right hand, Belcher does this INSANE headstand flip to get up and they touch gloves. Belcher hits a superman punch OFF THE CAGE!!! But Akiyama takes it and replies. Akiyama dodges a spinning back fist and hits a lovely judo throw and gets side control but Belcher powers up. Belcher swings wildly and Akiyama finishes the round with some great shots.

My Scorecard: 29-28 Belcher that is incredibly tight and could be a split decision but Belcher did so much damage it would be hard not to give the round to Belcher despite Akiyama's good counter punch knockdown and takedown.

Judges Scorecard: 30-27 Akiyama, 29-28 Belcher .... 29-28 Akiyama...Akiyama wins by Split Decision!

Well that was a suprising scorecard result, the commentators made a big deal out of it being a robbery but that's unfair Akiyama counter fought brilliantly and got two takedowns and a knockdown. Actually Belcher was cocky and spent too much time playing to the crowd and not putting the fight away or making sure of victory. Regardless it's a good fight and both guys deserved the win, lots of action only a slight lull, good harding hitting action, good counter punching and a could of insane moments especially that Superman punch off the cage by Belcher. Great Opener. (C+)

Middleweight Bout
The Coaches Showdown
Michael Bisping (18-1) vs. Dan Henderson (24-7)

Pre Fight: These guys hated each other and the way Bisping got under Henderson's cool calm laid back skin on the Ultimate Fighter was hilarious leading to a highly anticipated fights of recent memory. Not the two best fighters in the world Henderson is old (but good), and Bisping is well Bisping, overated but capable. Neither man has been TKOed

Round One: Bisping is circling to the right as always, Bisping is using nice footwork to avoid some huge right hands from Henderson. Bisping gets rocked by the huge right hand and Henderson tries to finish him against the cage but Bisping fights out nicely. A big right rocks Bisping again, but yet again Bisping survives. Bisping throws a high kick but doesn't connect he's connecting with some nice counter punches. Bisping dodges another huge right and counter punches. Bisping misses a counter upper cut, Bisping hits a punch kick combo. Bisping throws an over hand right but Henderson takes Bisping to the cage with some knees to the body. Bisping fails miserably with a take down and gets caught with another nice right.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Henderson Bisping did some nice counter punching but he keeps circling into the big right of Henderson like he does in every fight, it's just ridiculous and negates his great foot work. Bisping's corner are going mental telling him not to walk into the right hand.

Round Two: Henderson is trying to set up the right hand still, and Bisping is still doing some nice counter punching, but he's only barely dodging some huge shots. Henderson lands a huge right hand and a big left follows, god how many times do I have to type that. Bisping walks into a nice jab. Henderson misses another huge right and gets off balance but is safe. Bisping gets a nice little jab but is grazed with a big right. Bisping walks right into a HUG-FUCKING-MUNGOUS RIGHT HAND AND BISPING IS OUT COLD!!!! Dan throws a scary punch when the guy is clearly out cold christ. Dan Henderson wins by Knock Out.

Wow what a brutal knock out, and that was literally a knock out he was out cold and still is ouch. That second shot was really uncalled for and pretty scary. All credit to Henderson he was in great shape but Bisping was just stubborn and stupid. He kept circling into Henderson's power side, even though his coach was incredibly vocal and warned him. It was really a blessing to get to the end of the round for Bisping but he wasted his oppurtunity to sort out his sort comings. Henderson in the post match interview said that he studied tape and saw the Bisping circles into the right hand in every single fight, he though Bisping would change it up but of course he didn't. Henderson deserves a title shot against Silva, he will lose but as a veteran in great shape he's earn it. That was a real reality check for Bisping, he's a great personality and has some good natural skills but he'll need to rededicate himself. Fight wise, this was an incredibly brutal knock out to end a grudge match. (C+)

UFC Welterweight Championship Match
Thiago Alves (22-4) vs. Goerges St-Pierre (18-2)

Round One: Huge chants for "GSP" from the off. GSP stays away from Alves's hands and then gets a takedown, Alves tries to get up but gets takedown down again. Alves gets to his feet but gets take down again. GSP takes his back but Alves rolls over and escapes brilliantly. Alves gets a hook and a leg kick but GSP's movement is very good and GSP gets a nice combo as the crowd chant "Olay, Olay, Olay". Alves tries to press forward adn unlaod but gets taken down hard again.

My Scorecard: 10-9 GSP he's dominating, but its not dull great take downs and clever counter punches.

Round Two: GSP gets a leg kick and then a monsterous takedown again. GSP control is amazing but to be fair to Alves he's working well on his back and defending well getting to guard. Alves is bleeding heavily from the nose and GSP is pounding the hell out of it with elbows. GSP tries to pass guard but Alves is defending very well but GSP just Tees off when he can't pass guard fully. Alves spins to his feet superbly but he gets pinned up against the fench, wow his is dominant.

My Scorecard: 10-9 GSP utterly dominant, Alves is defending superbly and working well, he's showing he's no joke and deserves to be in there. I've finished eating now so I should be able to type more

Round Three: Alves comes out swinging with big shots but GSP is counter punching well, GSP walked into a hook but recovers well. Alves manages to stuff a takedown (finally it only took him two rounds). GSP dodges Alves offence superbly and GSP counters with another brilliant takedown, wow GSP is putting on an absolute clinic. Alves escapes to his feet nicely again. They battle with some inside work neither guy really getting the better of it. Alves hits a leg kick, GSP is keeping Alves on the end of his jab. GSP knocks Alves down with a left hand and dives into the mount throwing elbow after elbow but Alves recovers and shows some impressive toughness.

My Scorecard: 10-9 GSP another excellent round from GSP more great takedowns, Alves looked better and pressed well but then GSP got a knock down out of nowhere, I feel bad for Alves he's being made to look alot worse than he actually is.

Round Four: Guess what? GSP starts the round with another huge takedown, seriously this is insane and he passes into mount. Full credit to Alves he's defending himself well and scrambling incredibly well avoiding everything GSP tries. GSP misses an arm triangle and allows Alves to get a mount! Way to go Alves! GSP's butterfy guard is good and Alves tries to drop bombs but isn't having much success. GSP escapes to his feet superbly after being trapped on his back and of course he took virtually no damage. Alves goes for the big uppercut but can't hit anything. Alves goes for a leg kick and GSP gets another friggin takedown, he's countering the leg kicks now. They go to sprawl and GSP gets teh back and goes for the rear naked choke but Alves defends himself well as the round comes to an end.

My Scorecard: 10-9 GSP all day, Alves got the mount and all credit to him that was much closer but GSP is learning to counter everything not just little bits and bobs now.

Round Five: Poor Alves his famously leg kicks have now been totally taken away as GSP gets another brilliant takedown. Alves gets up to his feet. GSP is just dancing around Alves it looks like Alves has the takedown stuffed but GSP absolutely EXPLODES and gets another mental takedown! Alves powers his way up to his feet again major kudos to this guy. GSP counter a hook into a takedown this time and that's takedown number 9!!! GSP is in half guard and he looks like he's going to ride out the round.

My Scorecard: 50-45 GSP no contest.

GSP wins by Unanimous Decision. One judge had it 50-44.

Wow GSP is the best pound for pound fighter, Alves is a good fighter, but GSP showed that he is undisputedly great and what makes this fight even more amazing is that GSP pulled his groin in the third round but still dominated the final two. His timing was remarkable, his stand up was great and his take downs were from another friggin planet. Alves was a good fighter, he showed heart, great defence and couldn't be put away but GSP is just so much better. Unlike Anderson Silva, GSP fought cautiously and just did enough, but GSP actually mixed it up and showed legitimate dominance and still had an exciting fight. GSP was very humble post fight. Good fight too one sided obviously some awesome takedowns. (C-)

The Main Event
UFC Heavyweight Championship
Frank Mir (12-3) vs. Brock Lesnar (4-1)

Pre Fight: The hype is superb Frank Mir comes accross like a total prick, but Lesnar to be fair can be a great to. "This guys got a horse shoe up his arse, and I'm going to take it out and beat him over the head with it" great line Lesnar. Mir says Lesnar punches like his little sister. Both men have great and perfectly suited entrance music.

Round One: Lesnar doesn't touch gloves and turns his back on Mir, Lesnar is so friggin cool! Mir's left leg is incredibly taped. Lesnar tees off and gets a takedown and grabs Mir by the throat in half guard. Lesnar cuts Mir's nose with a elbow to the face and the crowd boo as Lesnar hits some punches. Lesnar punches Mir in the face hard, Lesnar continues to punch Mir hard in the face as he has him pinned down. Lesnar is just teeing off kind of from a headlock and now Mir realizes he has to go. Mir's face is bloody and bruised. Lesnar pounds the body and then the face again. Lesnar has a next crank and he's just pounding Mir. Mir gets some distance but Brock just puts him down hard and gets a hammer fist. Mir tries to escape but gets a hammerfist for his troubles.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Lesnar Mir is just getting pounded from what should be a good position, he's being to one dimensional, Brock just laid on top of him for five minutes and pounded his face hard.

Round Two: Lesnar dodges Mir's offence and he counters a knee with a takedown but lets Mir up. Mir hits a nice hook and a knee and then a flying knee but this time Brock won't let him up. Brock lays ontop of Mir and pounds the hell out of Mir with power shots adn the referee has to stop it. Mir has been knocked out. Mir is a bloody mess. The replay shows that Lesnar killed Mir. Brock Lesnar wins by TKO.

Lesnar gets in Mir's face and says "talk all the shit you want now", the crowd boo and Lesnar gives the crowd the finger what a dude. Lesnar then starts going nuts and growling into the cage. Lesnare makes some funny facial expressions and tells the crowd he loves the boos. Lesnar said he beat him over the head with the Horseshoe and the shouts "Wooooooooooh!". "I'm gonna go home tonight and drink a Corrs Light, that's a Corrs Light, because Bud Light (the show's sponsor) won't pay me nothing, hell I might even get on top of the wife tonight". What a dude.

Mir was just pathetic there, Lesnar was too big, too tough and too strong. Mir was in his half guard adn just pounded the holy hell out Mir. Mir looked decent for about two seconds, he had a horrible game plan and got completely owned. Lesnar's post match was excellent. Lesnar was gold after the fight. The fight it self wasn't amazing as it was Basically Brock laying ontop and pounding the crap out of Mir. The grudge match element and Lesnar's personality makes this a must see. (C-)

Overall Thoughts: No real classic fights on this show, but some really good, intense grudge matches. This was good solid action, with one awesome knock out, and great importance and some great grudge matches. Not a classic but it deliverd the big matches. (7.5/10)

Goldberg and Rogan do the usual introduction and they talk about how we'll be seeing Ultimate Fighters Past and Future and then runs down the Clay Guida-Diego Sanchez match up that should be superb. Rogan and Goldberg seem to be fucking up like mad.

Nate Diaz (10-3) vs. Joe Stevenson (34-10) - Lightweight

My Prediction: Joe Stevenson is handy but he's ultimately a gate keeper and I see Nate Diaz having too much for him, but barely.

Round Two: Stevenson gets an explosive takedown but Diaz immediately locks him in guillotine but he can't get the guard and it gives Stevenson enough space to escape. We then get some scrappy ground and pound from both men. They wrestle around with Stevenson on top landing some good shots from a crucifix position. Diaz tries to power up but Stevenson really has him hooked. Stevenson then gets Diaz stuck in a crazy position, absolutely bizarre, Diaz rolls out of it but straight into a gullotine choke, it's on tight, Amazingly Nate Diaz does a forward roll off the cage to escape, that was absolutely crazy! Stevenson avoids a triangle choke before Stevenson is put in a double arm which he crazily counters with a rolling takedown. They both get to their feet and Joe lands some hard knees, Diaz cleverly drops to a knee so Stevenson can't knee him in the head.

My Scorecard: 10-9 to Stevenson after a scary start he recover with great takedowns and some amazing holds and wrestling on the floor, he showed more control and intent. Great Round.

Round Two: Diaz tries some funky stand up but Joe dives in with a takedown and Joe ends up in a guillotine again? He does a really weird style from the top and Joe rolls out to counter and Joe gets in a position to throw knee strikes and Diaz yet again drops to his knees to avoid the headshots. Stevenson gets another lovely takedown right into side control. Diaz avoids the transition to full mount and Stevenson unloads from an open mount but nearly gets cuaght in a triangle choke. Stevenson drops knees to the gut from the sprawl. They then go up against the cage and the fight lulls. Nate tries another clever takedown but Joe counters landing on top in half guard.

My Scorecard: 10-9 to Stevenson very much more of the same.

Round Three: Nate tries to trade but Stevenson gets another rolling takedown before they go up against the cage and Stevensont gets another rolling takedown but Nate responds with a hard judo throw. Nate gets into guard. Nate throws some wild strikes before going for an arm in guillotine but Joe escapes, Nate tries a rear naked choke but Joe scrambles to escape and they get pressed up against the cage. Nate says "come Joe get to work Bitch". They seperate and Nate tries a Judo throw but Stevenson blocks and Nate begins to swing wildly. Nate avoids a takedown and throws wildly.

My Scorecard: 29-28 to Stevenson, I gave the last round to Diaz for the submission attempts.

Judges scorecard: All judges score the fight 29-28 to Joe Stevenson for a unaimous decision.

Well that was a really intriguing fight with lots of techinal wrestling and scrambling and some insane positions, got to give major credit to Stevenson he proved he's a level above Diaz and that he's better he's shown in his last two fights. Good fight. (D)

We then head to our first final, the all UK final between Andre Winner vs. Ross Pearson in the lightweight division and we get the life stories of both men.

The Ultimate Fighter Lightweight Finale
Ross Pearson (10-3) vs. Andre Winner (10-2-1)

My Prediction: Well the smart money has been with Pearson from the begining, but for some reason I'm going against logic and going for Winner to be the erh....Winner, I think he's more desicive and will finishs this in the second round.

Round One: They juke around to start the fight before Pearson goes inside and unloads with a fast flurry, they then exchange leg kicks, Winner goes in wtih a lightening combo Pearson dodges the worst of it and replies in kind. Pearson fakes a jab and hits a leg kick. They go against the cage to the thrill of exactly to one, Pearson tries to throw knees but Winner goes for the takedown but its blocked easily. Joe Rogan says they know each other so well they are cancelling each other out. The morons in the crowd chant "USA". Winner hits a knee to the gut and follows it with an elbow. Ross goes for a takedown but Winner stays on his feet and Ross gets caught with a knee to the balls. Pearson unloads with a hard flurry but Winner replies with some nice dirty boxing. Both men exchange knees. Winner unloads with a body shot flurry to end the round.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Winner, bloody hell Joe Rogan was right on the money this is so fucking close, they are cancelling each other out but that nice final flurry from Winner gave him the edge for me.

Round Two: Pearson gets two nice leg kicks and then goes for a pair of straight punches but Winner avoids the worst of it. Winner counters punches by using dirty boxing techniques and taking the fight to the cage. Pearson goes for the takedown but Andre continues to block it and counters with an uppercut. Winner lands a knee to the gut, Winner does some nice dirty boxing work. Winner now has control and keeps it tight. Winner gets a nice elbow from inside. Pearson grazes Winner with a knee and tehn goes for a head kick but its blocked. Pearson hits a right hand over the top and then follows it with a knee but yet again Winner stuffs the take down. Winner lands a nice knee. Pearson throws an inside elbow and they exchange knees. Winner finishes the round with a flurry.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Pearson, very tough to call but I thought he showed more aggression.

Round Three: Pearson is tenacious taking Winner straight against the cage. Pearson gets the better of the dirty boxing with some elbows and uppercuts. They exchange shots nicely, both men land hooks but Pearson hits one big shot at the end and Winner takes it against the cage and goes for a takedown but it's blocked. Pearson unloads with some nice uppercuts, Winner seperates and lands some short hooks. Pearson lands a leg kick but Winner counters with a straight right. Winner does some good work on the inside. Pearson goes for the takedown but Winner scrambles to avoid it just. Both men unload from the inside, Pearson lands a nice hook adn they exchange some big shots. Winner throws a combination against the cage and then gets a knee. Both men throw flurries in the final ten seconds with Pearson landing a huge knee and elbow.

My Scorecard: 29-28 to Pearson, Insanely close.

Judges Scorecard: 29-28 Unaimous decision for Ross Pearson making him the newest Ultimate Fighter.

Not exactly a classic to watch becuase both men totally cancelled each other out but there was some fantastic action when they seperated but so much of it was intense clinch action. Intense and even, a fine fight but it didn't make for the best tv. (D)

We then get an interview with Brock Lesnar and Joe Rogan, Lesnar actually seems quite nervous but still delivers a cool calm promo, he says what's important to him to winning. Joe Rogan then gives Brock Lesnar his most Dangerous man award.

We then go to the hype for our second Ultimate Fighter Finale between Damarquez Johnson and James Wilkes, we get both their back grounds and why they want to win.

The Ultimate Fighter Welterweight Finale
Damarquez Johnson (14-6) vs. James Wilkes (6-2)

My Prediction: Well I've got everything wrong so far, but despite this I'm yet again going to go against the bookmakers and critics and back Wilkes for a KO victory.

Round One: They excahange strikes and Wilkes lands some hard right hands before hitting some nice knees. Johnson recovers and they seperate. Wilkers gets a leg kick and then thows some big knees and rights but Johnson recovers and responds. Wilkes gets a takedown, but Johnson looks dangerous on the ground. Johnson avoids and heel hook and unloads but Wilkes gets an insane leg lock but Damarquez escapes. Damarquez escapes a trianle choke but gets stuck in an armuplatu that was just insane, but Damarquez escapes again, Wilkes gets another takedown, but Damarquez is lookin for an arm bar, but Wilkes slides into a rear naked choke but Johnson escapes, twice before Wilkes reapplies the hold with seconds left and Damarquez taps the fuck out!!! James Wilkes is the Welterweight Ultimate Fighter! It's a total victory for the UK.

I've been saying this all along from the first fight that Wilkes is the man, but all the critics said from day one it was a cinch for Damarquez but Wilkes was better than him in almost everyway and absolutely caponed him in every aspect of MMA Stand Up, Clinch, Sprawl, Wrestling, Submission and total performance, in an intense and awesome fight. Great finale. (C+)

Diego Sanchez (22-2) vs. Clay Guida (25-6) - Lightweight

My Prediction: Diego Sanchez, Guida is exciting but Sanchez should have way to much for him.

Round One: They do a mean arse staredown, seriously this is the best staredown ever. Both men come out swinging with insane punches, and Guida gets rocked but Diego can't finish, Guida recovers from two insane knees. Both men trade again with Sanchez ontop with some huge shots. Diego again scores with the leaping knee but Guida survives and replies with a takedown, holy shit! Guida works over Sanchez with some elbows and he begins to pound and grind the life out of Sanchez. Both men are bleeding. Sanchez uses the rubber guard but Guida explodes and goes for gulliotine. They seperate and the referee gives Guida his mouth peice back. Sanchez knocks Guida FLAT ON HIS ARSE with a head kick, but Guida explodes back up and goes for a a takedown. Sanchez unloads with another flying knee. Sanchez just unloads with uppercut flurries, but Guida again recovers and powers Sanchez across the octogon into the cage. Sanchez responds with a takedown and gets half guard. Twenty seconds remain, They stand and trade Sanchez gets the best of it.

My Scorecard: 10-9 to Sanchez, but honestly who cares, what a fucking round, honestly this is just insane, the fact that Guida is still standing is a miracle whats even more astounding is that he is scoring with a takedown and powering Sanchez across the ring.

Round Two: Guida blocks the head kick this time, Sanchez lands a nice flurry but Guida responds with a nice takedown. Sanchez and Guida both throw elbows. Guida tries to unload from open guard but can't get anywhere. Diego is going for a camora but Guida puts his head in to block, haven't seen that before. Guida escapes and tries to pound the crap out of Sanchez. Guida avoids a guillotine but Sanchez locks up the arms as the crowd chant for "Guida". Guida draps Sanchez away from the cage and tries to pass guard. Guida tries to smash the crap out of Sanchez but Sanchez responds with some sick elbows from the guard. Diego goes for the rubber guard but he's not flexible enough, both men just slug the holy shit out of each other and their is blood everywhere. Guida avoids the arm bar and the round ends with both men drench in blood.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Guida, that was so tough to call, and in many ways I thought Sanchez was better and more technical but he never really got in a dominate position in the entire round. I can see many scoring that to Sanchez its a tough call. Not as insane as the first round but still great stuff.

Round Three: Guida gets a leg kick, Sanchez leaps in with an uppercut but Guida responds with a wild flurry. Sanchez slips and Guida tries to unload, Guida dodges the head kick, The crowd chant for Guida and he chases Sanchez with some wild swings, but Diego responds with some brilliant counter punching and some heavy uppercuts. Guida lands a right hook, Sanchez lands a huge right hook and both men trade, Both men land big shots and Sanchez responds with a combination, this is a war. Guida blocks a headkick, Guida goes for a takedown but misses, Sanchez gets the back, but Guida slips out but ends up in an arm triangle but Clay escapes adn is on top. They then both go to town, Diego goes for a camora, Clay does his best to avoid it, blood is just draining over both men. Guida uses his head to block. Guida goes for an arm bar but Guida slips out and unloads.

My Scorecard: 29-28 to Sanchez,

Judges Scorecard: Judge one scores it 29-28 Guida, Judges two and three score it 29-28 Diego Sanchez. Therefore the winner by Split Decision is Diego Sanchez.

That was an absolutely fantastic fight, bloody, brutal, insane, had a bit of everything brawling submission and pint loads of blood, delivered on everything it promised, absolutely awesome fight. Clay was awesome after the fight saying you can't hurt him, apparently you can't, god this guy will have a job forever if he fights like him, I worry about him in old age. (A)

Overall Thoughts: Well that was a great show, my copy skipped one fight that was apparently excellent as well, but a solid card full of interesting bouts headlined by a war, an instant classic. (8/10)

We find out right off the bat that Cameron has injured ribs but he has to fight to make it to the final. Cameron is scared that a single body shot or a body kick could take him out the coaches tell him to man up. Andre on the other hand seems condifent and is taking the training session himself he still has a black eye from the last fight. Derek Asamoah that Andre sucks his thumb and the British team rib on him. Seperately he admits to doing it "There I said it...I only do it as a comfort thing, only once in a while".

We go straight to the fight.

Cameron Dollar (4-1) vs. Andre Winner (9-2-1)

My Prediction: Very tough one to call, I would normally back Cameron as he has the better skills but the injury makes me think he'll be off his game and I'm backing Winner.

Round One: Cameron throws some big hooks straight away, Andre keeps his composure dodges some wild swings and hits a plum hook and uppercut. Cameron throws wildly and Andre picks him off with a lovely right hook. Cameron goes for a takedown but Andre escapes and hits some heavy artillery, Cameron gets another nice trip but Andre escapes quickly and there up against the cage. Cameron fails on a takedonw but nails a nice rightn hand and gets a takedown but Winner superbly counters first into a full mount and then into a triangle choke and the referee has to stop it after Cameron puts up a noble effort. Andre Winner by Triangle Choke.

Really good fight, Cameron swung like a mad man early on, but Andre showed class picking him off with some well placed heavy handed shots and then finished the fight of with cool calm control. Ontop of that he seems like a nice bloke good short fight. (D+)

We now go to the build for Ross Pearson vs. Jason Dent. Pearson is training and his shoulder pops out, wow! He tells Bisping to pull his shoulder sharply we hear some nasty crunch sound and Ross is fine. God that's a hell of a dodgy recurring injury for a MMA fighter. We then go to Dana who says he wasn't happy with Dent's fight, said he played it safe and tried to squeek by. Dent says he may be boring but he's intelligent and defeatedhis opponent without sustaining any damage. Ross says he's going to make this fight messy, so this could be a styles clash.

Ross Pearson (9-3) vs. Jason Dent (18-9)

My Prediction: Hmmmn....see I fancy Pearson for this fight, if his shoulder holds up, but that would make for an all England final which would be a bit odd, either way I think Dent will be too defensive and be overwhelmed.

Round One: Dent goes for a high kick but its blocked and he opts for a leg kick instead. Ross goes after him with a jab combo and hits a gut kick but against the fence Dent turns it around and hits a knee strike to the head and then gut. Ross does some good work from inside the clinch, Ross throws some sloppy offences landing to the face and gut. Dent is very composed. They go from one side to the other without either man getting the advantage. Ross looks tired. Dent unloads against the cage with uppercuts but Ross escapes and fires back. Dent is guarding his head well but is being repeatedly rocked with hard body shots. Both men slug but nothing is landing. Ross throws some big hands but Dent guards really well, both men stand and trade Ross does well but catches one straight right. Dent nails Ross with a hard combo right at the end of the round.

My Scorecard: 10-9 to Pearson, very close, but Dent landed well at the end but was desperate and wild throughout.

Round Two: Dent goes for a superman punch and head kick combo but misses both. Pearson hits a nice counter punch. Dent throws an inside flurry before being met with a head kick. Both men tag each other with some good shots. Pearon again powers Dent back against the cage with some big shots. Pearson does a great job of takedown defences. Ross hits a plum counter punch, Dent looks gassed, Ross has to cover up before both men trade. Pearson then scores with a takedown. Pearson begins to ground and pound from the guard and then passes guard but Dent escapes. Both men stand and trade against the cage. Ross blocks a takedown and unloads from open guard, Ross then pounds it out.

My Scorecard: 10-9 to Pearson, easily Pearson's round a good takedown and an excellent takedown defence give him the round.

Rount Three: Dent unloads with a combo but Pearson deals with it well. Ross hits a huge counter right hand, Ross works against the cage with some nice shots and then gets a takedown and elbows down on Dent from the side of the cage. He drops some hammer fists on Dent. Dent tries an arm bar but Pearson avoids it and pummels the side of Dent's head They go to the sprawl but Ross maintains control and pounds away. Dent rolls back into gaurd and Pearson continues to pound it out but he keeps leaving his hands in. Pearson avoids a arm bar and continues to pound down Dent who can't get out of the sprawl position. Ross passes guard and unloads as the round ends.

My Scorecard: 30-27 to Pearson, no doubt about it he dominated every round.
Judges Decision: Pearson!

Solid Fight, It had its dull moments but there was plenty of good action spread accross three rounds. (D)

So it's an all UK lightweight final Andre Winner vs. Ross Pearson
The other final Damarquez Johnson vs. Either James Wilkes or Frank Lester

Overall Thoughts: That was a really a good edition, not much drama this week but two good solid fights setting up an all UK final. The real intrigue is for next weeks rematch between Lester and Wilkes who without doubt had the best fight of the series so far. Good stuff. (7/10)

The show opens with Bisping and Dan Henderson discussing the potential fights for the quarters and semis. Damarquez says he wants James "because I want to hurt his feelings", Jame was Damarquez too. Most people pick people on the other team they don't like. Cameron really wants to fight his team mate Dent! Dana loves it.

Dana wants to make sure its a USA-UK final, Bisping gets in his face and says he knows that the British will destroy the US team. Bisping as really got under Henderson's skin, you can tell he's relishing fighting Bisping. Dana makes the announcement and he decides to not fuck with the formula.

Pierce is still being a giant vagina on the whole, he's saying how much he loves Team UK, Ritchie gets in his face, Pierce calls Whitson a retarded animal, Whitson gets in his face and calls him a total and absolute pussy. Pierce tells Whitson to jump weight so they can fight. Ooooooh. Apparently Jason Pierce is then over heard telling Nick how Damarquez fights and how he trains, Ritchie isn't happy.

Dan Henderson says what everyone has been thinking from day one that Damarquez is going to win the show because he's clearly the best fighter. Let's hope for a supirse knock out or at least that someone will give Damarquez a good fight. I can totally see a Cameron-Damarquez final at the moment.

Dan asks Jason whether he's been telling team UK about Damarquez, he says no. Nick then admits that Jason's told them everything, he does know alot about his style and that he hasn't trained in the last two days. Nick has absolutely awful takedown defence and he appears to be getting murdered in training although he does one insane pro wrestling style flip counter.

Semi-Final
Damarquez Johnson (13-6)vs. Nick Osipczak (3-0)

My Prediction: Got to go Damarquez he's clearly the best fighter in the competition and while Nick has improved he still looks to be a million miles from the finish article. (My record 4-4).

Round One: Nick hits a nice leg kick, but looks nervous when throwing hands, Nick connects with a leg kick but gets tagged with some straight rights. Damarquez hits a lovely counter uppercut, they go to the clinch and Damarquez gets a brutal leg trip but Nick to his credit makes it to his feet and throws hands. Nick hits a leg kick but misses a head kick. Damarquez hits a hook but Nick manages to block the follow up knee. Damarquez catches Nick right on the button with a Jab. Damarquez counters a straight right into a takedown. Damarquez avoids a arm bar and passes to half guard. Damarques is working hard but Nick recovers to full guard. They have a really good scrap for position. Nick hits a nice elbow from below. Damarquez nearly gets to ope guard. Nick shoots for a takedown and unloads on Damarquez and ROCKS HIM. Nick unloads with everything he's got knocking the shit out of Damarquez but he recovers with three monsterous hooks, just an insane brawl as the buzzer ends.

Fantastic round, obviously scores count for nothing.

Round Two: Nick gets a leg kick and a straight right hand as both men trade. Nick shoots for a takedown but nearly gives up his back. Damarquez passes guard and drops elbows but Nick superbly recovers to full guard but Damarquez passes guard and goes for a kamora but has to give it up and ends in a half guard. Nick guard has been fantastic thus far although that's normally the kiss of death to any fighter. Nick looks tired. Nick tries to turn it aroudn but can't and Damarquez ends up in half guard. Damarquez gets to full mount and then surrenders his back. This looks bad. Nick is covering up and just hanging on, the referee threatens to stop the fight but the buzzer expires and Bisping has to help him up.

This is very very dramatic. Nick roars in his corner he still wants to go!

Sudden Victory: They touch gloves and Nick lands a straight right and a leg kick, Nick hits a body shot and leg kick. Damarquez nearly connects with the big uppercut. Damarquez throws a big haymaker through Nick's guard. Nick looks tired and Damarquez tries the big knee but its defended well. Nick tries a spinning back fist. Nick has a cut on his eye and looks ropey, Damarquez lands some heavy shots, Damarquez catches a leg kick and gets a hard takedown. Nick tries to reverse from the floor. Damarquez seems to be opting for a bit of lay and pray. Damarquz gets teh mount and then gets Nick's back but Nick turns it around and gets on top. Nick tries to through hands but Damarquez guard is very good and Nick's very tired. The scramble and fight in a girly manor but its a fun end to the round.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Damarquez (if scoring the whole fight it'd be 29-28 Damarquez),

Dana talks about how amazing the first round was with some incredible action and that unbelievable brawl at the end was just outstanding. They then talk about Nick surviving the second round and they described the third round as Nick being dead but Dangerous.

Judges Decision: Unanimous Decision for Damarquez Johnson

Outstanding fight, the first round was brilliant, but the fight was always competative and consistantly dramatic, about as good as an Ultimate Fighter fight could be. I have to apologise for Nick he should tremendous ability against a top level fighter, awesome stuff. (B)

Overall Thoughts: With a fight that dramatic and long it couldn't help but be a great episode, the drama with Dana-Bisping-Henderson was great at the begining and the Jason Pierce vs. Team US feud is carryign the reality TV nicely. (9/10)

This week its 3-4 to the UK. Last week Dana threw out Peirce for being complete and utter vagina, so he's being replaced so Dana talks with the various losers from the US team and asks them if they want it Miller and Lester both want to do it even with a broken nose and four missing teeth respectively.

Pierce says he's not scared to feet, Cameron, Santino, Damarquez and Lester all rip the shit out of him saying "fuck Pierce he's a pussy". Lester and Miller both really want the fight and are training hard. Dan Henderson comes into the jim and says Lester has been cleared to fight and Miller hasn't because of his broken nose. Dana says he's impressed with Lester for wanting to fight with no teeth and a busted up eye, Dana says that's what sepergaes regular people from fighters.

Damarquez begins to question Dan Henderson's coaching ability as Henderson wants to tame Frank Lester's style making him fight more conservatively and not go in and fight like a mad man. Dan Henderson ask Bisping to swap training times and get the afternoon session, Bisping gets in his face and says its total rubbish "you want me to bend over and take it in the arse" bwahhahaha Henderson says "Bisping was a little bitch about it". Bisping says he's going to talk it over. The UK team comes in and they say it's a "resounding no".

The two teams argue and Damarquez says they should go "Battle royal style", Bisping said he'd go head first for Damarquez if they did, it'd suit him fine, Damarquez says that would suit him fine. Dan jokes about giving him another game of tennis.

Bisping squirts water in Damarquez's face and has ago at him for racist coments, Cameron admits it was him and Bisping apologises to the US Team and then goes to apologise to Damarquez but he walks of oooooooh.....Dan says Bisping throws little hissy fits when things don't go his way. Damarquez says he'll happily fight Bisping in a parking lot.

We then go to the UK team training and it's 9:00 am, Bisping thinks its bullshit he's been forced to change times. Faulkner is still struggling with his mouth guard so they've got him a hypnotherapist??? She says she's going to reprogramme his sub conscious mind. She reads this ridiculously scripted promo in a lame monotone voice. Lester is equally struggling with mental problems he's having nightmares about being hit in the face.

Dave Faulkner (2-1) vs. Frank Lester (3-2)

My Prediction:
Tough one to call I'd imagine it'd go 4-4 to make for a better series but I think Faulkner will have to much for him, he'll have to dodge the heavy hands of Lester. I'll go for Faulkner by submission

Round One:
Faulkner gets a leg kick, and then an inside leg kick, Lester responds with a leg kick of his own. Bisping tells Lester to stop messing around. Dave gets another leg kick. Not much action in this one. Faulkner catches Lester coming in with a jab and takes Faulkner in the clinch into the cage. Faulkner goes for a takedown but Frank blocks and gets double underhooks and both men seperate. Lester throws some hands but Faulkner blocks and catches Lester with a right hook and shoots for a takedown he gets it but Lester stands up quickly. Faulkner hits an uppercut as they come off the cage. Dave lands a glancing counter hook, Faulkner looks gassed as Lester swings wildly connecting with nothing but air. They clinch against the cage as the round ends.

That was a pretty terrible round, not much going on, if this were a typical round it'd be 10-9 to Faulkner but TUF doesn't work like that.

Round Two: Faulkner's gum shield comes out and they have a time out. Faulkner gets a leg kick but gets tagged when he tries to chase Lester. Dave blocks a high kick and a wild swing and we go to the clinch again. They break again and both men throw hands Dave connects with the clean strikes but Frankie shows continued agression before they go to the clinch again, where Faulkner works some uppercuts and Frank goes for the knock out knee strikes as does Faulkner but there is little int he way of connection. Faulkner is totally gassed and is throwing incredibly loose hands. They go to the clinch but nothing comes of it they release and throw some incredibly tired hands. Lester hits a straight right with Faulkner's guard down but it does nothing, Faulkner dodges two strikes and goes to the clinch. Faulkner gets a knee and then hits a straight right.

Faulkner is the more skilled fighter but he has absolutely no stamina, Faulkner is much more precise but he's so tired. I give that 10-9 Lester. Faulkner says he's done and says he won't come out of his corner. And the fight is over? God that's pretty terrible, worst fight of the series by a mile. Can't believe he quit. Lester wins by Forfit? (F+)

Bisping is pissed off with everyone chanting USA and the nature of the defeat, Bisping is insanely pissed off, he can't believe the way Faulkner gave in. Faulkner enjoyed the fight but was just too tired. Bisping takes the four semi finalists aside and says that Dave was fucking Pathetic, and they agree, he tells them that your here to win and he doesn't want to see any of these four vagina out.

Overall Thoughts: This was probably the absolute best episode on the drama and reality TV side of things, with Bisping running around being a total prick and an absolute dude in then process. It's odd I should like Dan Henderson because he's humble and nice but he's coaching a bucnch of twats, where as Bisping is funny, annoying and a total deuche most of the time but he's training a team of nice guys so I find my self wanting Bisping to kill everyone. The fight let this otherwise excellent episode down. (8.5/10)

Woo Hoo the first time I've ever been able to watch UFC live, thank you Setanta for actually having a hot contemporary product that more than four goofs in Middlesbrough actually enjoy. Actually Setanta aren't that bad I'm just glad its not the Setanta team covering the event.

Sean Sherk (37-3-1) vs. Frank Edgar (9-1) - Lightweight

Round One: Wow I didn't realize Sherk had had so many fights. Well my money is on Sherk literally, although I'm pretty worried about this one. Franky gets a hed kick as Sherk swings wildly. Sherk gets a jab to the gut, neither man can connect with anything big yet. Edgar's reach advantage is makign his tough. They briefly clinch, Edgar gets a leg kick, Sherk blocks a mid kick, Sherk snaps off a jab but Edgar returns fire with a straight right, Edgar then gts a lovely combo of two body shots and a straight right. Sherk misses a wild swing and Edgar hits another lightening combo. Edgar gets a leg kick and dodges. Edgar gets another nice flurry and bizzarely goes for a takedown btu Sherk stuffs it. Sherk hits a left hook. Sherk gets a leg kick but Edgar trips him and gets a guillotine, Sherk has it blocked but this doesn't look good for Sherk. Sherk manages to pwoer out. Frank catches a jab and dances away. Sherk is really struggling with this reach disadvantage. Frank gets a left hook and they then trade some big shots but neither man has enough power to rock the other.

My Scorecard: 10-9 to Frankie Edgar, he should better skill and control, Sherk kept pressing forward but Edgar dictated the action with a series of nice flurries. Great movement from Edgar Sherk has to close the gap.

Round Two: Edgar dances around and hits an uppercut, Sherk tires to snap off some jabs but Edgar dances around. Sherk lands a hook and an uppercut. Edgar gets a short left hook. Edgar gets a nice counter with a straight left hand and he follows it with a good body kick. Edgar again lights up Sherk with some counter punches. Edgar then knocks down Sherk with a knee to the body. Sherk recovers but continues to walk into counter punches. Sherk gets a couple of jabs but can't connect with the big hooks. Edgar gets a nice leg kick and follows it with a good jab combo. Sherk gets a body shot but is struggling to hit anything. Edgar throws another nice combo but Sherk responds with an uppercut but Edgar replies with a good combo. Edgar lands another uppercut jab combo, Edgar hits a lovely uppercut combo and Sherk explodes with some wild hooks but can't connect with anything. Edgar hits an accidental low blow. Edgar goes for a take down but its stuffed and Sherk blocks it and lands a right hand. Sherk hits an overhand right on the buzzer drawing blood from Edgars nose.

My Scorecard: 10-9 to Edgar again, Edgar's boxing skills are vastly superior he is floating in and out and hitting nice combos, he's been very ellusive and even got a knockdown in that round.

Round Three: Edgar continues to float around picking off Sherk, Sherk hits a left hook and then gets a big takedown on Edgar. Edgar makes it to his feet but eats a pair of jabs, Sherk is bleeding from his eye brow. Sherk swings wildly but gets picked off again. Edgar bobs and weaves, Sherk hits a left cross and blocks a takedown. Sherk can't get a takedowna and eats a kick to the body. They trade and Edgar gets another nice combination. Sherk gets a left hook, and then a straight left, Edgar responds with a nice combination. Edgar continues to pick of Sherk. Sherk goes for a takedown but Edgar counters with a guillotine but the time expires.

My Scorecard: Another 10-9 round for Edgar, making it 30-27 Edgar on my scorecard, Shawn got a takedown but Edgar still controlled the round and the fight with his movement.

Judges Decision: All three judges score the fight 30-27 Frank Edgar wins by Unamious Decision.

Solid opening fight, Edgar dance around and hits some loevely combinations and showed some great foot work. Edgar outclassed the one dimensional Sherk in every department. Solid action. (D)

Chael Sonnen (23-10-1) vs. Dan Miller (11-1-1) - Middleweight

Round One:
For some reason the fans are booing the ref. Miller catches Sonnen early with some rights and a leg kick. Sonnen goes for a takedown but Miller catches him witha sweet guillotine, Sonnen's face goes bright red but after about thirty seconds he manages to escape and unloads with some big ground and pound. Great opening to the fight, for no apparent reason Sonnen sits down into Miller's high guard. Miller kicks him off but Sonnen explodes with some monsterous big ground and pound. Sonnen blocks a knee bar and gets side control and begins to drop elbows. Miller manages to recover to half guard, Chael hits a nice straight right rocking Miller who manages to squirm back into full guard. Sonnen stands up and hits some monsterous straight rights, Dan is taking the ground and pound but Miller is going to be fucked for the next round.

My Scorecard: 10-9 to Sonnen, Miller started really well with the arm in guillotine but the minute Sonnen escaped he was screwed as Sonnen showed off some impressive ground and pound skills. Miller will get his chance to stand up second round.

Round Two: Both men go for leg kicks and Miller stuffs a takedown, they throw hands before going to the clinch, Sonnen gets a huge takedown and Miller gets the guillotine, he has it locked without the arm but he is totally gassed from the first round and Sonnen powers out with ease. Sonnen tries to ground and pound but Miller is guarding well. The comentators discuss the UFC video game and having to use the tutorial while their kids were asleep. Miller is defending well but not doign anything more than that. Miller goes for an arm bar but he clearly doesn't have the energy and Sonnen hammers his way out. Sonnen lands a nice elbow, Sonnen throw one huge shot but Dan takes it and holds Sonnen in his guard.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Sonnen, Miller is completely gassed, he's had chances but can't take them, he's too tired. That was a pretty dull round as Miller has a good guard and made sure he kept it dull.

Round Three: Miller lands a series of big straight rights an lefts to start the match forcing Sonnen to go for the takedown and gets it with ease, damn. Sonnen gets through Miller's rubber guard easily. This is just too evenly matched, Miller can't get a submission, Sonnen can't get through the guard. Sonnen drops some elbows. The crowd are getting very restless as Sonnen dominates but can't really do anything. Sonnen tries to pass guard but isn't going anywhere.

My Scorecard: 30-27 total domination by Sonnen.

Judge's Decision: 30-27 Unanimous Decision for Chael Sonnen

Not an exciting fight in the least, classic example of a wrestler lying ontop of a gassed opponent, very dominate victory but you can't really see Sonnen going anywhere unless he can become more exciting. Started well though. (E)

Drew McFederies (7-5) vs. Xavier Foupa-Pokam (20-10) - Middleweight

Round One:
This is the best possible fight to follow up that snoozefest, Rogan describes this fight as Rock'em Sock'em Robots awesome. McFederies goes in swinging wildly and knocks the shit out of Pokam knocking him down, pounding the hell out of him, Pokam gets up and Drew knocks the shit out Pokam whoses falling all over the place, Pokam tries to grab a leg but the referee has no choice but to end it.

Drew McFedries wins by TKO in 0:37.

Well that was dissapointingly short but that was a totally welcome wake up call after the last match, it was pretty funny Proffesor X was hoping around and Drew caught him with some massive shots, fun and short, cool TKO. (D+)

Pre Lim: Soszyinski vs. Gusmount - Heavyweight

Round One:
Gus catches his opponent low and they seperate, Gus hits a big leg kick and unloads before going for a high kick but Soszyinzki takes it. Soszyinski hits his opponet with a low blow. Gusmount dances around but gets tag with a combo. Gus gets a leg kick and a front kick. Gus tags his opponent with a left hook and an inside leg kick, Soszyinski rocks Gus and they stand and trade and Soszyinski gets the better of it and huge right cross puts Gus on his arse and the lights have definitely been turned out. On the replay it was the two big right hooks that killed Gusmount.

Christoph Soszinski wins by KO in 3:17.

Really good knock out, some brutal shots, I'm amazed that Gus managed to take the first hook but the second one finished it in devastating fashion. Fun pre lim match. (D+)

Matt Hughes (43-7) vs. Matt Serra (16-5) - Welterweight Weight

Pre Match Hype:
Well I've already lost fifty pence on Shawn Sherk but now its time to back it all back I've got two pounds on Hughes, i know know what your thinking Woah big spender but its on. These two guys really hate each other, this fight has been building for over a year, its not as big a fight as it would have been back then, Serra constantly calls Matt Hughes a dick. This is the definition of a grudge match and it truly could be the last fight ever for a true MMA legend in the form of Matt Hughes.

Round One:
God I'm suddenly all nervous, seriously I can see Serra knocking him out, I don't know why, it was just too much of a sure thing that Hughes was gonna win. Both men feel ech other out, Serra lands a big punch that rocks Hughes and Hughes is all over ht place and Serra beats the crap out of him. It turns out that Hughes was caught with a head butt, Hughes picks a leg and goes to the clinch to slow the match down and recovers. Hughes pins Serra against the cage and grinds away. Fuck I'm even more nervous now. Hughes lands a jab, Serra lands an insde leg kick. Hughes looks very groggy. Matt misses a big kick and goes to the clinch, but Matt gets a big belly to belly takedown and pounds away on Serra getting the back and goes for the rear naked choke but Serra is fighting out of it well. Serra escapes and both men make it to their feet. The crowd chant for Hughes. Hughes dodges a big kick and dodges a wild swing and goes for a takedown.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Hughes, fuck its really tough to call, Serra was more tough and got the big the knock down, but Hughes got the takedown and back control some I'm edging it to Hughes. It turned out to be a headbut and a rabbit punch that took Hughes down.

Round Two: Hughes got hurt bad as he doesn't know what happened to him. The crowd chant for "Serra" but that's met with lots of boos, Hughess dodges a huge left and catches a jeb. Hughes gets a jab and a belly to belly takedown. Hughes gets to half but Serra is defending well. Hughes is stuck as both men battle and Hughes lays in some big body shots. Hughes lays in some shots to the face. Hughes continues to ground and pound, its not overly exciting but I feel alot more confident. Serra looks cocky as Hughes pounds away. Hughes catches Serraw with some decent shots. Hughes hits Serra in the face who looks a little more nervous now. The crowd aren't happy and the referee stands them up. Serra misses some big shots as the round ends.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Hughes, Hughes took him downa and dominated the round, Serra has to come and look for a knock out. I know Hughes is looking for takedowns but I'm worried by the south paw stance.

Round Three: Hughes manages to back up Serra who swings with an uppercut but misses. Serra is looking for the big shot, Hughes gets a good right hand and Hughes relentlessly chases Serra and gets the takedown but lands in the armuplata. This could be bad news for Hughes. Hughes slugs and escapes to the full guard. Hughes drags Serra to the cage and Serra locks up Hughes again but he escapes. Serra goes for a triangle but Hughes escapes easily. Serra is holding on to try and stand up the fight and the referee oblidges. Serra is coming after Hughes. but Hughes catches him with a big right hand. Serra misses a big kicka dn Hughes gets the clinch but Serra gets the takedown OH SHIT. Serra nails Hughes with a big punch. Thank christ time expires. The two men hug at the buzzer. Hughes raises Serra's arm.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Serra I think, that was tough, I think that takedown at the end gave it to Serra, as he tried submission on the ground and showed better aggression very close. 29-28 Hughes in my opinion. But I would say that.

Judges Decision: 29-28 Unanimous decision to Matt Hughes.

Thank fucking christ that was so bloody scary, it looks like I had it scored correctly, that was so close the judges easily could have gone the other way. Not dominant at all from Hughes but then he did get knocked silly by a fluke headbutt and a illegal rabbit punch. The fight wasn't a classic but it was incredibly tense, very nervy and had lots of twists and turns, definitely drama over quality. I won my money whoop, whoop. On a serious note Hughes should retire he has nothing left to prove, he's equalled Liddell's record and there is no need to avenge the Silva fight as Hughes was past his peak. For christ sake he's had 51 fights! That is so many especially by modern MMA standards it's time to hang it up and go into the hall of fame. (C+)

UFC Light Heavyweight Title
Lyoto Machida (14-0) vs. Rashad Evans (18-0-1)

Round One:
Rashad looks cool and calm like he's having fun in the intros and Lyoto looks very determined. My money is on this fight too but I'm not so nervous I got Machida by decision. Evans won't push the fight and you can see Machida isn't happy having to push the fight. This is incrediblee no one has thrown a punch in the first two minutes. Machida hits a gut kick and this is so cagey its beyond belief. Machida nails another kick to the guy after another minute. Machida tries leg sweep but Rashad hits a glancing hook. Rashad swings wildly, they go into the clinch and immediately break. Machida rocks Evan with a right taking Rashad down hard and unloads with a furious flurry but cannot finish and Evans fights back and recovers. Rashad blocks a pair of big kicks.

My Scorecard: 10-8 Machida, I'm going out on a lim with the 10-8 score, but Machida hit the only two kicks of the fight before knocking Rashad down and unloading like hell.

Round Two: The crowd chant "Ma-chi-da" as another sixty seconds passes without any strikes being thrown. Machida gets a gut kick and goes for a takedown but the cage saves Evans, lucky boy. Evans has taken the centre and will he show any aggression? No, Machida retakes the centre and Machida unloads with a lightening flurry but Rashad responds with a big flurry of his own. God exchange but not very heavy hands. Rashad finally shows some aggresiona and comes forward with a wild flurry. Evans gets a gut kick and he's finally starting to bring it but looks very nervous. Rashad comes swinging and Machida knocks him down with a huge counter punch, Rashad is all over the place falling over and over again but Machida can't finish, Rashad gets stuck against the cage and Machida punches the holy hell out of Rashad with a big kick and then a humongous flurry of straight right and lefts knock Rashad out cold. Rashad's legs buckle and he is flat out. The slow mo shows us that it was a straight right that rocked Evans originally, then it was a huge right hook that knocked Evans silly and a big straight right, left combo that finished it.

The winner by Knock Out and New Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida!

Well I got the right winner wrong finish, I should make some good money there. The fight itself had a very cagey first round, but Machida got the big knock down, the second round was the same until Machida picked his spot and that led to a very memorable insanely precise knocked out. Not the greatest fight overall but that shocking second round knockout will be replayed many many times. Machida is a scary proposition I have absolutely no idea who can beat him, maybe a Matt Hughes type who can take him down, pin him and sit out a rounds victory. The post match interview with Machida was very fun he seemed like a nice guy, Rashad Evans is very humble in defeat. Evans puts over Machida's cleverness and timing. Not sure where we go from here, Rampage-Machida would be the obvious fight, but its hard to see Rampage winning, unless he catches Machida with a big shot. Evans has several potential opponents but its tricky because he's too good to drop down the ladder but I don't think there is much money in a rematch. Maybe Evan's fights the winner of Silva-Franklin. Regardless a cagey start leading to an explosive finale. (B-)

Overall Thoughts:
Not the greatest card you'll ever see but you definitely got three cool knockouts and exciting fights, one grueling nerve racking grudge match between a legend and a pesky fighter. There were certianly some duds on the card but this is a show were if you ordered you got your money's worth but nothing more, just like WWE Judgement Day. I'm glad this airs for free int he UK. The newsworthiness of the two main events bumps up the rating slightly. (7/10)

The show opens with Jason Pierce continuing to bitch, apparently he now has a staff infection, which to be fair is a very nasty injury. He seems genuine about returning to training. Faulkner and Bisping are training hard on striking and brawling. Dave Faulkner has a strong gap reflex that means he constantly spits out his gum shield, which costs you points in the UFC. Dave Faulkner says no one can help with the gum shield, it seems like a problem, Bisping talks about him being mentally weak and having to bring his game face this time around.

Henderson decides to mix up the training by playing ultimate frisbie and for the first time Team US looks like their bonding and having fun. Doctor says its incredibly sore to touch and that he shouldn't fight. Pierce is talking about how he can't work out and how he basically won't fight. They try to convince him to train, Dan Henderson talks about how he hates negative energy and how he wants Pierce to show some enthusiasm.

Santino is cooking dinner, it sounds nice, but Jason Pierce still won't respond to the US guys. Santino makes fun saying he won't respond to someone unless they've got a british accent. Lester and Santino are pissed about how they cook but get no respect from Dent and Pierce. Lester says he wants to punch Pierce in the face.

The next fight announcement is Jason Dent vs. Jeff Lawson, this is one of those fights that could be really intriguing or incedibly dull.

Dent is up next to moan, he doesn't like having to share a house with 15 other guys and never having a minute to himself. Santino says Dent is out of his mind, he's really fidigty and insane. Darmarquez thinks Dent will look back and see that he missed out on a great oppurtunity.

Henderson says that Dent is a very good technical fighter but he's really hard to train as he won't work on his weakness and just does what he wants. This makes him a very annoying to train. Henderson has a sit down talk with Dent, he says the right things but Dent seems very dismissive. Henderson labels him tough to coach, Dent promises he will listen in training.

We then go to Jeff Lawson and he's a rubber glove over his face with a face drawn on which he then pumps up and explodes. Lawson then hands from the roof with his rousers off and starts rolling around and doing gay stretches. Jeff and Dave have a pro wrestling dress up and they have a "pro wrestling match". Which is pretty funny. Derek joins in its pretty funny stuff. Jeff Lawson is the joker the house. Dave Faulkner then suplexes Asamoah off a diving board into the swimming pool. That was utterly insane.

Jeff Lawson is apparently the arm bar king. Throw and Arm Bar. "I'm not much to look at, everyone underestimates myself, I'm ginger for god sake", "I'm crap at football, I'm rubbish at tennis, but I fight".

Dana White calls Pierce to talk to him about whether he can fight. Pierce talks about the doctors advice and how it could get into his bone. He says he's mentally ready to fight but he then talks about having the shivers. Dana gets the feeling that this kid doesn't want to fight, Dan Henderson says he should have sold it like he was ready to fight.

Jeff Lawson (13-2) vs. Jason Dent (18-9) - Lightweight

My Prediction:
This is a tough one to call, I like Lawson but think he's a one trick pony and might struggle if he gets caught on his feet. Both men have an impressive number of wins but I have an inclining and I'm predicting Dent. (3-3)

Round One: There's fourteen minutes left on the show so I guess this is going long. Dent is doing some weird jab motions and Jeff goes for a big roundhouse but misses. Dent gets a leg kick and manages to stuff a takedown attempt. This is very cagey, Jeff gets a leg kick, and misses an uppercut combo. Dent gets a leg kicka and Lawson gets the world's most bizzare takedown before going for a knee bar. Dent escapes to guard and Lawson does some nice ground and pound but clearly doesn't have knock out power. Lawson powers up into a spinebuster style move. Lawson throws and elbow but Dent is having the better of the ground game. Lawson tries another ground and pound flurry but Dent absorbs it and allows Jeff to get a full mount but Jeff looks useless in the this position and he unloads but doesn't get close to a KO. Lawson gets kicked up into the air in a weird moment and the round peters out.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Lawson, he should slightly more control but that wasn't impressive.

Round Two: Dent looks more aggresive but gets powered into the cage. They clinch but its broken quickly. Lawson lands a right hand but has his takedown stuffed. Lawson looks rocked as they stand up and lands leg kick before going for another bizzare takedown and nearly getting a leg lock. Lawson then gets a straight right hand an a huge leaping knee. Dent however blocks a takedown and a rolling guillotine ends the fight. Jason Dent wins by submission.

Dent really wasn't impressive at all, Lawson looked solid but got so gassed in the second round, it was definitely a luck victory. Lawson shouldn't have lost in that manner. Not the most entertaining fight but a relatively intriguing and tactical stuff. (D)

That makes the score: UK 4-3 US
My Prediction scores: 4-3

Lawson isn't happy but Bisping jokes around and manages to cheer Lawson up. In the meantime, Dana White tells Pierce he doesn't want to fight and he's out. White says he thinks Pierce came in and found out he wasn't a fighter. Dan Henderson says he would have lost anyway, but to Pierce's face he tells him to stay positive and help everyone train.

Overall Thoughts: Big big drama to end the show, with the narrative about Pierce being a whiny bitch carrying the show. This episode was alot of fun on the reality side of things with the wrestling match, Lawson being a goof, the ultimate frisbee and basically everyone being very charismatic. The fight was perfectly acceptable and nothing to right home about. This was a very fun edition with the big added drama tacked on the end. I guess this means Faulkner advances without a fight. (7.5/10)

Forrest Griffin

Okay they've said the names so bloody fast this season I'll have to try and catch up as we go along. The house looks a lot more normal than the mega ghetto paint job I'm used to from series 9. Dana White is seriously impressed, now its time to announce the teams. They flip a coin and Rampage wins.

Okay they pick teams but I couldn't really keep up as they kept just saying their first names. One guy looks like he might have herpies so in the worlds of Rampage they "quarentined his arse". Rampage says his goal is to learn as well as teach. Rampage wants to know if he can train, Rampage tells them to kick him away "like your in prison and he's trying to get your booty". Rampage asks a doctor if called Jason Micheals if he's related to Shawn Michaels, what a dude. One guy has herpies on his neck that's trigger if he has herpies Rampage says "I don't want no heebee geebees", "do you like running, good, because if you said no I'd have told you too bad". That "dudes got cooties on his neck", Rampage is absolutely making this show.

Forrest is up next saying he's never been a coach, he would never want to be, but he knows how to run a training camp. Forrest has brought in a Muay Thai coach, a Jiu-Jitsu coach and Gray Manyard of UFC fame to coach wrestling. "as Shakespeare said "to thyself be true", I don't know what the fuck he meant by that, but don't quit on yourself, the juice is worth the squeeze, there will be absolutely no clapping". This is absolutely insane, where did they get these guys.

Dana White has to tell the guy with Herpies to go, the guy breaks out in tears and he begs for another chance. It's a quite emotional moment, Dana has a hard job, the guy cries saying he doesn't have a job anymore, he gave up his life coaching wrestling for this. He says he's stuck with nothing now, he can't do either of his loves. Rampage tells him everything happens for a reason. The guy has to back up all his things and go home.

If we hadn't had enough drama already its fight selection time. Forrest announces Mike Dolce vs. Jesse Taylor. The plan is to beat one of Rampage's toughest guys to send a message. Forrest says Jesse Taylor is too good he might quit cause he doesn't need a trainer he's the next Matt Hamill. Dolce on the other hand used to be a tax collector, Rampage says "who cares if he's only a little bit taller than a hobbit, he's tough".

Dana tells Rampage to bring back one of the losers, he first picks one whose got an injured leg and then picks one whose still here before picking Patrick Shcultz. This guy seems like a total deuchebag.

Rampage comes into the house, one guy just lives at home with his mum and doesn't have a job. Rampage said "I was so broke I had to wear my brothers old underwear, they were leapard skin shit". Rampage is insanely funny in the house, Rampage has definitely won over his team. Jesse Taylor is a complete twat. They show Jesse Taylor struggling to use the diswasher.

(Forrest) Jesse Taylor (6-2) vs. Mike Dolce (4-4) (Rampage)

Round One: Jesse goes for a takedown but Dolce stuffs it and unloads but Taylor gets a rear naked choke but Dolce manages to fight out of it excellently but Taylor skill has back control and goes for a takedown and choke again but this time Dolce can spin into the half mount and Dolce rains down strikes, Jesse goes for a guillotine but Dolce escapes and Taylor wrestles into side control. Taylor goes for a mount but Dolce turns to his back and yet again Taylor cannot capitalize. Taylor lays in some strikes and goes for the rear naked choke but Dolce escapes again and Taylor attempts to ground and pound. Taylor hits three big strikes but Dolce manages to take them. Taylor tries to pound it out but Dolce gets his guard back as the round ends.

Round Two: Dolce catches Taylor with a big hook but sucks it up and gets the takedown and works from inside Dolce's guard. Taylor passes guard and drops elbows. Taylor gets a mount with ease and begains to unload with a series of big blows, Dolce gives up his back and Taylor locks in the rear naked choke and this time he gets the win. God he's such a twat.

Good grounded fight non stop movements and energy, Jesse looked very impresive but I'd like to see how he fares against someone with a good takedown defence. Solid fight. (D+)

Dolce gets knocked out and Jesse is happy to earn ten grand courtesy of burger king.

Overall Thoughts: Great show, Rampage and Forrest are two of the best personalities they could have possible chosen for this show, even if they both look like terrible coaches. The fight was pretty good but the show was full of drama, emotion and comedy. Great stuff. (9/10)

They go straight to the hype for Rampage and Jardine and it looks like an exciting fight on paper albeit a one sided one.

Jim Miller (13-1) vs. Gray Maynard (7-0) - Lightweight

Round One: Gray catches Miller with a jab to start the match. The fists fly but no one connects. Gray gets a jab and Gray gets a leg kick before Miller takes the fight to the clinch. Both guys throw some knees before the clinch is broken. Gray gets a one two combination to the gut. Gray dodges and then unloads with a fast flurry but Miller takes it and replies with a kick go the body. Miller goes for a single leg but Gray does an amazing job of staying on his feet and unloading. Gray tries to throw a knee but he's powered accross the ring. They get stuck against the cage but Miller just can't get Gray down and Miller's nose is bleeding heavily. Miller misses a combo but hits a kick, Miller gets a jab. Miller goes for a knee but Gray easily dodges. Gray dodges an uppercut and lands a jab. Gray catches Miller coming in with a big straight right hand. Solid round.

My Scorecard: 10-9 to Gray, he was much more precise with his punches, hits some big shots and did a superb job of takedown defence. Miller did get a nice kick to the gut.

Round Two: Gray looks more aggresive and snaps off a nice jab. Manyard is looking for the straight right hand but there's not alot going on and the crowd boo. Miller gets a leg kick and a straight right hand. Miller then gets a good inside leg kick. Gray gets another straight hand, Gray then hits a flurry of gut punches. Miller gets an inside leg kick but misses a high kick. Gray tags Miller with some big rights against the cage. Gray gets another straight right hand and Miller goes for a takedown but Gray turns guard and lets him up. Miller misses a big kick and hits a right hand. Not much action going on here. Gray suddenly unloads with a flurry and then follows up with a straigh right hand. Miller misses the superman punch and he tries to unload but Gray dodges all of his punches.

My Scorecard: 10-9 to much closer this round but Gray is hitting nicer combos and Miller's face is an utter mess. Miller gets some good leg kicks but can't really hurt Gray.

Round Three: Miller tees off with some jabs but Gray returns with a flurry. Miller gets a leg kick the crowd aren't happy about the standing around. Gray gets a straight right hand, they mix it up and Miller throws a body kick. Miller misses the superman punch. Gray avoids another takedown but Gray blocks and Manyard gets a big takedown but Miller gets the leg but Gray does an awesome job of wriggling out to his feet that was close. Miller lands a right hand before another failed takedown attempt. Gray completely controls Miller. Miller tries with everything he's got but can't get anywhere. Gray hits some big shots and is in total control. Miller comes at Gray but can't connect and walks into a straight right.

My Scorecard: 30-27 to Gray, Miller tried really hard but was out classed in virtually every department appart from leg kicks.

Judges Decision: Gray Manyard wins by Unamious Judges Decision 30-27.

This fight had some good moments but never quite clicked, too much standing around and from the first round it was very clear that Gray Maynard that was a vastly superior fighter. (D-)

Mark Munoz (5-0) vs. Matt Hamill (7-2) - Light Heavyweight

Round One: Hamill goes for a takedown but it doesn't come off and both men swing, Munoz gets a single leg but still can't get Hamill down. Hamill gets a leg kick but Munoz comes in with some over head rights and a gut punch. Munoz gets a uppercut and round house punch. Hamill tees off with a series of straight right hands. Hamill gets a leg kick and a pair of straight rights. Hamill covers up well but can't avoid the hooks. Hamill gets a good staight right. Munoz gets a wild right and Hamill avoids two takedown attempts. Hamill gets a SICK head kick out of fucking no where knocking Munoz out cold and the home town crowd erupt! Matt "The Hammer" Hamill wins by Knock Out.

What a finish! The fight looked to be warming up to be a good one when out of nowhere Hamill nailed the monster kick from hell, who on earth could have seen that coming. Hamill's post match enthusiasm is infectious. He cuts a nice promo after the match. That is the kind of knock out that you just don't get anywhere else. (C)

We then go to Mike Goldberg with Frank Mir, apparently his leg has popped up and broke. Mir is very clear and concise, he talks about how he doesn't want to have any excuses, so there pushing the fight back a couple of weeks. Mir is doing a great job of being a classy guy. We then go to Rashad Evans promo, his fight has been pushed up to this weekend, his next opponent will be dependent on tonights fight. We then see Brock and Sable in the crowd.

Matt Brown (11-7) vs. Pete Sell (8-5)

Round One:
Matt goes straight out missings some big kicks Brown lands a superman punch, a huge kick to the head and then unloads with a flurry putting Sell on his arse, the ref breaks it up but changes his mind and says go. Matt unloads with a flurry of straight right hands and knees Brown has him down but the referee won't stop it. Sell gets to his feet and Brown unloads on Sell a big elbow knocks the mouth guard, Sell is really struggling. Matt lands a straight right, looks at the referee, nothing, Matt hits a kick to the head, the ref still won't stop it, Sell falls over of his own accord, the referee still won't end and Brown throws two big grounded punches and the referee finally stops it. Matt Brown wins by TKO in 1:42.

That fight was mad fun, Brown just came out to kill Sell and never let up, the refereeing was awful this fight needed to be stopped much sooner than it was. Brown came across as a really classy guy. Exciting TKO. (C)

Pre Lim: Kendall Grove vs. Jason Day - Middleweight

Round One: Grove goes for a big kick but Day goes in tight but nothing comes of it, Kendall gets a kick to the gut but Day comes in again but doesn't land anything big. Grove gets a kick to the leg. Day comes in tight and swings for the fences and you can see that Grove doesn't like that. Grove shakes it off and hits a killer straight right hand that knocks Day clean out and Grove unloads until the referee calls for a stoppage. Kendall Grove wins with by TKO in 1:32.

Well it looked like Day knew the trick to defeating Grove but the ex ultimate fighter winner came out of nowhere with the dramatic knock out and as Grove put it he's "fucking back". He did a cool dance after the fight. Short but dramatic. (D+)

Keith Carwin (10-0) vs. Gabriel Gonzaga (10-3) - Heavyweight

Round One:
This should be good these are two of the heaviest hitters in MMA. Carwin swings away but Gonzage dodges easily. Gonzaga absolutely rocks Carwin with two big right hooks. Gonzaga gets the takedown and begins to pound and attempts to pass but Carwin gets to his feet. Gonzaga misses an overhand right and Carwin gets a jab an a short straight right hand knocking out Gonzaga on the spot and ending the fight. Keith Carwin wins by Knock Out in 1:09.

Wow that was short but insanely good, what made this fight so exciting was that Gonzaga looked to have the fight won before Carwin came back with the shock knock out. I'd be worried if I were Brock Lesnar this is the best the Heavweight Division has looked in a long time. Great fun. (C)

Pre Lim: Tamdan McCrory vs. Ryan Madigan - Welterweight

Round One:
McCory walks straight into a kick but gets a takedown immediately and geos to the ground and pound but Madigan has an impressive guard. McCory passes Ryan's guard and gets side control Tamdam hits two monsterous strikes to the head but Ryan takes them and regains full guard. Tamdan passes the guard into side control and gets the full mount and rains down some big blows. Tamdan goes for the triangle but Ryan escape Tamdan puts himself in a leg lock? But Ryan doesn't know what he's doing and lets Tamdan escape back into a full mount and he pounds the TKO out with elbow strikes busting Ryan wide open. Tamdan McCory wins by TKO in 3:35.

Tamdan is a major deuche bag, but he's pretty funny on promos, I'd love to see this guy get knocked out. Ryan wasn't in Tamdan's league, Tamdan talked about not having the music he wanted. (D)

Jardine hits a knee to the gut and Rampage comes after Jardine with a flurry.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Jardine, Rampage had a couple of big flurries but Jardine controlled more of the round with good kicks, slow start to the round that picked up consistantly as it went along.

Round Two: Jardine gets a leg kick, but Rampage gets a couple of jabs and Rampage hits a leg kick but Jardine replies with two of his own. Rampage comes swinging but doesn't connect, Jardine swings wildly but he doesn't connect either. Jardine has a big kick but Jardine scores with another leg kick. Jardine hits another nice leg kick but walks into a pair of hooks. Rampage comes out swinging wilding and the third hook catches Jardine hard and knocks the hell out of him. Rampage unloads and pounds Jardine hard again and again against the cage but he manages to recover and gets to his feet. Rampage gets a takedown out of nowhere and they seperate. Rampage hits a left hook and Jardine hits a kick to the gut. Both men swing for the fences and Rampage connects with at least three strong strikes as the buzzer goes.

My Scorecard: That round goes 10-9 Rampage very close round with both men rocking each other but Rampage was more aggresive and landed bigger shots including a knock down and a takedown.

Rampage lands four big hooks and dodges everything Jardine has. Great stuff. Jardine throws a straight right, Jackson dodges two big kicks and then unloads with two huge hooks taking Jardine down but there isn't enough time for Rampage to finish the buzzer sounds.

My Scorecard: 10-9 Rampage it was so close, Jardine had more control but Rampage got a takedown, a knockdown and came with some big hooks in the final half of the round. Jardine hit big leg kicks, this was very hard to call.

The Judges Scorecard: (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) Unanimous decision for Rampage Jackson.

Great fight, it had some lulls but this was two guys throwing big strikes, taking them and getting back up. What made this fight was so good was how back and forth it was and how it was so hard to call. The judge that had this fight 30-27 is a complete moron. (B)

Rampage and Evans then show down on the mic with Evans saying "you gonna get knocked the fuck out" and Rampage saying "I want my belt back", "sup nigger", Rampage then says he's gonna get knocked out, Evans then says "I'll give you the first shot mother fucker" and Rampage takes the mic and says "There's gonna be some more Black on Black crime motherfucker!!!!". The fight ended up being Machida so I take it and injury must have come up to change the fight. Can't wait till sunday and till we get to see Jackson-Evans.

Overall Thoughts:
Really good show tonight with some dramatic knockouts and TKO's and the card was finished off with a dramatic three rounds of non stop striking and brawling. The post match trash talk was insane fun too. Considering there was no big title match this was a hell of a fun show. Good stuff all round. (8/10)
