Ric Flair Coming Out Of Retirement?
In and Interview earlier this week Flair said "I want to wrestle again...I watch (WWE) and I can do better than 90% of the guys there".
Flair went on to say "People in Europe are offering me a fortune...I'm tried of signing autographs I can make more money wrestling".
Flair has apparently sent texts directly to Vince McMahon including asking why he wasn't included in the draft. Flair said he'd only return to wrestling with Vince McMahon and Shawn Micheals blessing.

Thoughts: Everyone who knows Ric Flair even in the slightest knew this day was inevitable. Flair never would be able to stay away, the man just can't stop, he can't not be the nature boy. I have to say even though I'm a big Flair fan and he is undisputedly the greatest of all time, this is a step to far. Ric was given the greatest send off in the history of wrestling, a rare perfect moment in a sport so often surrounded by seediness and mean spirited crap. Even if Flair were to have a great run this time around he'd only tarnish the memory of that perfect send off. However with RAW ratings slumping and WWE lacking star power Flair remains one of the most consistant draws in wrestling history and Vince very may pull the trigger. However if I were to have my way Flair should have taken the role as Smackdown GM or become a manager perhaps joining legacy. But in terms of in ring action I hope Vince says no before Flair truly turns into Randy the Ram.
UFC 98 and beyond Predictions
UFC 98 looks like a fun card and I can't wait for the PPV now I finally have setanta. The top fight looks like being a riot as Rashad Evans takes on Lyoto Machida. This should be a great all action match, I suspect Evans will fall into the trap that everyone else seemingly has of pressing Machida allowing him to counter strike superbly. I can't see Machida knocking Evans out so I'm predicting all five rounds. Machida to win by decision.
In the semi main event we see Matt Hughes facing off against Matt Serra about two or three years ago this would be a dream match headlining any card, right now, its not such a big deal but still an impressive fight on paper. I haven't seen Matt Serra in a while but I've always liked Hughes aggresiveness and big takedowns so I'm predicting Hughes with a stoppage in round two.
Skipping ahead UFC 100 has a monsterous line up, quite literally when Brock Lesnar is on the card, he'll be making his first UFC Heavyweight Title defence against Interim heavyweight champion Frank Mir. Mir looked dead a buried a while back but he's be resurgent lately and holds a victory over Lesnar. However despite this I feel Lesnar has improved and has way too much for Mir as long as he can avoid submissions. UFC's heavyweight division needs Lesnar to win and that's what I'm predicting, Brock Lesnar to retain with a second round TKO.
Then on the undercard the awesome Goerges St-Pierre will be defending his Welterweight title againsts Thiago Alves, With Forrest Griffin vs. Anderson Silva being announced for later in the year the demand for a super fight between St-Pierre and Silva will have cooled so Pierre's attention should be fully focused on Alves. Alves shouldn't be over looked but I fully expect Goerges St-Pierre to stop Alves late in the Second Round.
Let's Play Spot The Difference
No don't worry I wouldn't be able to guess which one it is either, but this is not an existing Diva this is a "new" Diva but only new as in she techincally a different person from Kelly Kelly and Michelle McCool. Yes its another indentikit model who can't wrestle (Rachel Carr) and I'm sure you'll see Mickie James and Maryse jobbing to her in the not to distant future. I feel bad for Kelly Kelly she's really trying to learn how to wrestle, she's pretty cute and hot but it looks like they are already lining up her replacement. You would have though they'd have learnt their lesson after the face less, heat less, debacle that was the Diva Battle Royal at wrestlemania, but I guess not because Santina is so funny, ha ha fucking ha. Rachel Carr has zero chance of standing out.
Ric Flair isn't the only one coming out of retirement.
Lance Storm is returning to the ring to compete in Ring of Honor. I haven't read the details of this deal yet but Storm is a big ROH fan and Ring of Honor is desperate right now with a weak roster and a real lack of dirrection. I hope Storm gets to works with Tyler Black or Aries someone who could use the rub. I just get the feeling it'll be Storm vs. Lynn in a match ten years old that will draw absolutely no curiousity buys. Lance is still in good nick and can be a useful roll player in ROH if he is used wisely.
Well that was relatively fun I might continue to throw news updates out each week, have fun.
