I won't run through a whole show as I was there live but I'm going to hit the top stories and highlights coming out of the show.
.
Chris Jericho's Fairwell Performance
.
RAW started with Chris Jericho coming out to address the RAW audience and give us his fair well address, Jericho was brilliant and got a huge split reaction, I imagine they'll edit out all the "Y2J" chants. Jericho called us parasites and sychophants and we duely cheered like mad men, I think we upset the children next to us.
.
Ricky Steamboat made a suprise appearance, well to us at least, and thank Jericho for giving him one last moment in the sun. Jericho was not to pleased at being thanked and said Ricky just wanted to hog the lime light one more time. Jericho promptly challenged Steamboat to the a one on one match at backlash. Ricky tripped over his words a little but it was a nice segment and great to see Steamboat.
.
John Cena's music hit and he informed Jericho that Vicky Guerrero isn't here tonight and neither is Edge so tonight Jericho doesn't just get to walk off he has to face Cena tonight. Really good really fun opening segment.
.
The best was yet to come, as Jericho and Cena put on an epic TV match that went at least fifteen minutes, and had a series of great counter exchanges, similar to Cena's return match last year. Jericho threw Cena into the steps both men countered each others Finishers. The were a series of huge "Y2J" chants and it was a great match to be in the crowd for. I have to admit the Boo-Yeah slugfest exchange was one of the most fun live experiences I've ever had, seriously, it was up their with seeing Metallica. Edge Ran out for the DQ finish but it didn't really matter, as Edge killed Cena with a spear and a conchairto and proceeded to cut a money promo. Its hard to rate a match live as I spent most of my time booing Cena, battling near by kids with chants, and making the girls infront of us laugh with silly comments, but this was definitely in the three star range. (***1/4)

Randy Orton defeats Triple H
.
Orton-Tripper couldn't live up to the Jericho Cena match but they took a completely different tack with a slow intense beat down, it wasn't overly exciting but they had some nice spots with Triple H spinebustering Orton through a steel chair. We got the big run in athon after about ten minutes Legacy and Batista and Shane running in. We got more teased descention with Batista accidently spearing Shane and shoving Triple H over. Orton won the match by suprising Triple H with the RKO. Not a classic but a good tv match up and a nice contrast to Jericho-Cena as they couldn't have topped it with a traditional tv match. Batista and Shane made friends after the match but I doubt if that will make TV. On a side note Orton was monster over as a face particularly with men and women, the kids hated him of course. (**3/4)
.
CM Punk defeats Kane with a double take finish
.
After a solid TV match, Kane and Punk completely blew the finish, CM Punk was supposed to counter the chokeslam into a small package but Kane couldn't fall correctly. Punk had to return to the ring a redo the finish, it was very bizarre to say the least. Kane along with Big Show got the win back on Superstars over Punk and Rey.
.
Edge is very cool
.
Edge after crushing Cena with a con-chair-to, Edge faced Kofi Kingston in a very solid TV match with some great near falls, however the crowd were incredibly burned out by that point in the show after two excellent TV matches on RAW, Why on earth they film Superstars after RAW I don't know. Anyway after the match we were treated to a short but sweet dark match where Cena defeated Edge with the Attitude Adjuster after a groggy Cena still selling the con-chair-to counter the spear for the win.
.
Batista kills Chavito
.
Batista squashed Chavo not once but twice with two Batista bombs, this was a really fun segment with Chavo joking he's not just on RAW to push Vickie around. It was doubly funny as my mate Gaz did the full Batista machine gun dance in the middle of his crowd infront of his girl friend it was a site to behold.
.Beth and Melina work a fun match
.
Melina and Beth did a re-run of Melina's title win with some nice spots, Beth made Melina kick herself in the head, did the reverse torture rack and Melina retained the title with Trevor Rhodes's sunset powerbomb. They botched a couple of spots and were sloppy in places but this was great for a TV divas match and I'm sure the TV editting magicians will make it look perfect, god if they can salvage a Candice Michelle match they can do anything. (*-**)
.
Santino is a Merchandise Machine
.
Santino did a fun silly little segment with Beth and Rosa, it was great to see him live but the shock came at the Merchandise stand when Santino had sold out all of his T-shirts in men's sizes, yes more than Tripper, Orton, HBK and Edge, my mate Ole was very dissapointed but he got a cool Edge shirt instead so we're all winners.
.
Big Show was suprisingly Good
.
Big Show and Rey worked another fun TV match that put Big Show over strong, he lifted Rey with one hand over the top rope from outside to the ring it was a sight to behold. Rey got crushed, the kids were not best pleased. But another good fun short match up. (*)
.
Regal gets his fun moment
.
Regal got his big welcome home reaction against Dolph Ziggler before the show in a dark match, he hit a very nice half nelson suplex and I got to see a beautiful Leyla before she headed to Smackdown so I'm very happy.
.Overall Thoughts: A great RAW to see live with loads of in ring action. I think putting Superstars on after RAW is a mistake as the crowd was so burnt out after the two huge emotive matches on RAW. I can't complain however as WWE over delivered, and they really treated there fans well tonight with a stacked card. I will probably, unless they bring another PPV over to England or we do fly out to mania, never see a match the quality of Cena-Jericho again so I can't help but applaude. They'll have a tough job topping this next year. (9/10)

MVP: Chris Jericho: A brilliant farewell to RAW, an a really great moment if they can keep the brands apart for any serious lenght of time.
.
Update: I'm watching RAW on sky sports now and its just as good as I remembered but I have to give major credit to the WWE Editing crew, they are amazing, all the botches and sloppy moments have been covered up brilliantly and the shots are all perfect. Especially Edge standing over Cena it looked so Iconic. So the boys in the editting room get to share the MVP award with Chris Jericho. I bet these guys don't get the credit they deserve in the wider media being apart of the tainted world of Wrestling.
