Kevin Steen is talking smack as usual and he is as per usual awesome. Steen gives him a clean break and tells Jigsaw that he's cute without his mask. Steen slams Jigsaw face first into the mat and poses. Steen gets three straight shoulder tackles. Steen blocks a headscissors but can't avoid an arm drag, Jigsaw keeps landing on his feet and hits a tit-a-whirl arm drag and a running leg lariat for two. Steen has had enough and hits a hard powerbomb to counter a headscissors. Steen chops the chest of Jigsaw and unloads with knife edge chops and a running back elbow for two. Steen unloads with a big knife edge chop and teases another but hits an eye poke and mocks Jeff Jarrett. The crowd chant "Mr. Wrestling" as Steen boots Jigsaw over and hits the front flip leg drop for two. Steen now bitch slaps Jigsaw as he tries to get to his feet. Jigsaw works up to his feet and hits a bitch slap. Jigsaws closelines don't work an he's treated to a bitch slap for his troubles. Jigsaw hits a enzenguri and a ddt for two. Steen charges into a boot and then catches Jigsaw on the top rope and calls for a superplex. Jigsaw floats over and hits a Torture Rack bomb for two. Then just as Jigsaw is crawling to his feet Steen hits a Swanton Bomb for the 1-2-3.
Fine for what it was, a mismatch opener, still managed to fit in some impressive atheleticism. (*1/2)
.
Stevens then cuts a promo about how because he's from Florida the FIP championship is the most important title to him and he wants to show the world how much it matters, starting tonight with Claudio.
.
Rhett Titus vs. Delirious
This is a proper blood feud match, well for these two anyway, ever since I watched the hype I've been wanting to see Titus in action he just doesn't seem like an ROH guy.
Titus jumps Delirious to start the match who is in his depressive mode. Titus strips down to a pair of smaller pants, with a picture of Daizzee Haze on which he rubs in Delirious's face. Titus hits a gyrating snap suplex for two. Jimmy Jacobs and Alice in Wonderland and says that Titus is the guy who stole your girl, he's the popular guy in school, Daizzee was just a notch in his bed post, this is the time for your vengence.
Delrious explodes with a flapjack and a gut kick back stratch combo. Delirious tosses Titus, Jacobs says this is venenge for Jacobs, for Delirious, for everybody. Delirious then dropkicks Titus head first into Titus. Jacobs and Delirious staredown before Delirious picks up a blood Titus. Delirious headbutts him and claws at his bloody skull. Jacobs shouts encouragement. Delirious licks his blood as the crowd chant "You sick fuck". Delirious hits five Panic attacks until the ref calls for the bell on a TKO. Jacobs comes in and tells Delirious to hit another Panic Attack and he does.
More of an angle than a match, but I'm glad to see more stories and characterization in ROH, even if they are a bit silly, there was a great blade and some good intensity show from Delirious in this short burst. (1/2*)
.
Jacobs tells Delirious as he is coddled in Alice in Wonderland's breast, Jacob knows the pain he knows and that we all know. Jacobs greets him to the age of the fall. Daizee comes out and says she didn't know what to says she's sorry. Jacobs says she's a lair and the time to come with the Age of The Fall is now. Delirious walks away with the AOTF and leaves Daizee alone in the ring. Daizee walks to the back in tears. Titus is carried to the back by EMTs. Good segment, I really like this storyline.
.
Kenny King vs. Bryan Danielson
The crowd chant "Your Gonna Get Your Fucking Head Kicked In" at Kenny King, well who else. King brushes it off cooly. Danielson applaudes the crowd and then Kenny sarcastically does and muscle poses. Danielson laughs and takes off his vest and poses, the crowd cheer, Kenny laughs and so does Danielson. Kenny laughs at Danielson as the crowd chant "Stand Off Of The Year", they then shake hands.
Kenny shoves Danielson down to the mat hard and plays to the crowd, Danielson isn't impressed. Danielson pikcs the arm and uniquely takes Kenny down and applies a key lock and then hammerlock, Kenny then counters nicely into a Japanese arm drag, kips up and plays to the crowd. Dragon gets a droptoe hold and Danielson applies the bow and arrow hold and then turns into into a modified camel clutch. Danielson scores with a shoulder tackle before King gets a leap frog an a Japanese arm drag. Danielson asks for a test of strenght but of course King wins, King ages a two count before Danielson monkey flips into a triangle choke before gives King a stiff kick to the back. Fun start.
Danielson applies the Woah Woah Woah surfboard as Kenny shouts I'm just playing but Danielson opts for the leg stomp instead and gets two. King runs into a boot but he sees Danielson going up top and hits a running dropkick sending Bryan crashing to the outside. King knocks Danielson around on the outside. Bryan tries an Irish whip but King leaps up onto the apron and scores with a cannon ball dive. King brings Danielson back to the ring and tells him he's gonna have his back kicked in. Kenny King then hits the Arn Anderson spinebuster for two. King then locks in a surfboard, Danielson tries to reverse it but King spins through back into the hold. Again Danielson tries to flip the hold but King keeps control and takes him back down into the surfboard as the crowd chant "lets go Dragon". King again avoids a counter and scores with a back suplex for two. King hits a snapsuplex and floats over into a flurry of forearms and says, "best forearmer in the world".
Danielson counters a back body drop with a sunset flip for two and then scores with a standing dropkick. Danielson unloads before hitting a kitchen sink and then a brutal stiff kick to the back. Danielson hits a stiff running forearm in the corner then a bridging butterfly suplex for two. Danielson locks in cattle mutilation but King makes the ropes and Danielson reminds the ref he has until five. Bryan waits for King to get up and mocks him as he lays in some stiff kicks to the chest while he plays to the crowd. Danielson hits a spinning back kick and a flurry of kicks in the corner. King leapfrogs Danielson and hits a double knee in the corner and a blue thunder bomb. King slaps Danielson and tells him to get up before kicking him down for two. King tells Dragon to get up and lays in some stiff kicks. King hits a bitch slap and Danielson, Dragons up. King runs into a boot and Bryan kills him with a stiff boot. The time keeper reminds us that there are 30 seconds remaining. Dragon then locks in the elbow strikes of doom and the brutal arm bar and King taps. The ref then has to pull Dragon off King.
They played it safe in this one and the match was based around each man getting there characters over and telling a nice story. I'm impressed with King, he gets his character accros well, he seems like someone WWE might be interested in, he has a very good look. The match was basic but well thought out and played to the crowd. (**3/4)
.

Geez...how Pearce is the booker I don't know...yawn. (3/4*)
.
Nigel McGuiness calls everyone wankers, in particular Kevin Steen, he then mocks Generico and says he's in it to win it. Good short promo.
.
Tyler Black vs. Austin Aries
Austin Aries storms the ring chasing Tyler Black out of the ring. The crowd chants "Austin Aries", Tyler black gets on the mic, Black says he's got a challenge for Austin Aries, a stipulation for Austin Aries, he wants it to be Age of the Fall rules. Black says as much as Jacobs and Aries hate each other there alot alike. There both hot heads, Age of the Fall rules are infact no brawling, scientific wrestling, a game of chess. Black says he was in the car when Jacobs did what he did what he did. Aries gets the mic and says he'd rather kick your arse. Aries says when Aries was champion Black was sitting in the front row. Aries says he's beaten everyone you've ever beaten but Black has never beaten him.

Aries grabs a side headlock but Black immediately gets the headscissors and Black counters the headstand driving Aries head into the mat and Aries bails to the floor. Aries gets a hammerlock and works it into an abdominal stretch and then stretch craddle for a near fall, I love that pin. Black flips and kips out of an arm wrench and into one of his own. Aries uses a cartwheel to avoid an Irish whip but Black gets a backslide for a near fall and then a pinfall series from Black for two counts. Black again gets a headscissors this time Aries gets the headstand but Black dodges the dropkick. Aries holds onto the ropes to avoid a dropkick but Black lands on his feet and plays to the crowd, when he turns Aries kills him with a lariat.
Aries then unloads with elbows from a mount. Aries then goes for a ten punch but Black counters and goes for a running powerbomb but Aries counters that with a facebuster and the knee strikes. Aries locks in the last chancery shortly then rolls up for more knee strikes and goes for the Brian buster but Black blocks. Aries works the crowd but runs into a stiff boot, brilliant sell. Black works the crowd and hits a running forearm and a hangman's neck breaker for a nearfall. Aries escapes a firemans carry and throws Black out of the ring before hitting a suicide dive and garnering a round of appluase and an "Austin Aries" chant.
Back in the ring, Aries takes too much time on the apron and is killed with a stiff kick, Black brings him in with a F-5 and a superkick for a near fall. Black goes for the Pheonix Splash but Aries moves out the way so Black lands on his feet. Aries kills him with the corner dropkick and the Brainbuster is blocked, Aries then blocks the Small Package driver and avoids a Pele before kicks Black right in the face. Aries his a lovely brain buster and locks in the last chancery and Tyler Black has to tap.
Not an all out match up but it told the scientific wrestling story well. Had some great exchanges and showed how good a long match up between these two could be. The selling in this match was superb. Tyler Black having witness his mic skills now must, I repeat must be given a world title run in 2009. (***)

Jay tries a death Valley Drvier on the apron but Delirious breaks it up with a chair. Mark knocks Delirious onto the table and gives him a double stomp plancha, the table doesn't break so Mark hits a top rope diving big splash. Daizee Haze runs out to help Delirious but Alice in Wonderland runs out and hits her from behind. In the ring Jay pounds the crap out of Jimmy and goes for the Jay Driller but Alice in Wonderland runs in with a low blow and Jimmy hits the contra code for a near fall. Daizee Haze then chases Alice out of the Arena. Jay gets the knees up on the Senton back splash and the Springboard Doomsday device gets the 1-2-3.
Another arena clearling brawl between the Briscoes and the Age of the Fall? Really? Okay there good but I could do with something fresh. This match was all over the place, no pun intended but was loaded full of drama and the runs ins with the girls were a nice touch. Short but sweet. (**1/2)
.
Generico is sitting looking slightly worried and Steen comes backstage and gives him a pep talk that makes Generico go nuts. Steen is just gold, he looks short height wise but WWE and TNA should take a look at him.

Nigel is pissed and goes to the London Dungeon but Generico counters to an nice roll up for a nearfall. Nigel then hits a brutal Jaw Breaker Lariat and Generico is forced to tap out to the London Dungeon.
Good main event but not great, the underdog story was nice but it wasn't in the league of the Tyler Black match as Generico just wasn't given enough offence and was never really presented as a genuine threat to McGuiness. There were some good sequences, some nice counters and some brutally hard hitting action but it was just missing something. The near falls were great nevertheless as was the selling from Generico, so a strong effort. (***1/2)
.
Overall Thoughts: That was clearly and smaller show infront of a smaller crowd. The main Event is well worth a watch, and there is some good wrestling on the card but its far from essential. A mediocre show, but seeing as its free to download online, I recommend you get it and watch a very entertaining main event.
