Doctor Who - city of death episode 3

We resume to find that the count has got the doctor hostage back in Venice during Da vinci’s time, we go on to find that the count is one of the aliens in the first scene (the Jagaroth) who has been splintered in time with the sole desire for him to escape the earth and time travel back in time to stop his species engaging on a brutal war which would eventually wipe its self out . the doctor eventually escapes and heads back to paris but before doing so writes on all the blank canvases set to be used for the mona lisa reproductions THIS IS A FAKE Romana and Duggan remember them go on to the lovre were they find that they are two late the mona lisa is missing!!!!!!!!!!!! Russian scientist goes exploring and finds the count inside the room with all the other copies of the mona lisa, the count again reveals his plans to use the invention not to help solve the food shortage problems in the 3rd world but as a weapon and a way for him to try and get back to the moment his ship exploded trapping him on earth, Russian scientist says he will not do it.

The count reappears in paris to which he tells the countess that he has been making humanity evolve faster and faster he designed the pyramids, showed humans what fire can be used for , invented the wheel, the countess dosnt understand what he’s going on about. After this speech the count realises the doctor and the girl (romana) ( quite why they couldn’t call her romana who knows although some feminists would have a field day with theories ) are not ordinary people but time travellers, Romana and duggan are in a cafe and decide to re go back to the counts house (why ????) Romana and the count then have a conversation about time travel he then invites romana to his underground cavern to the science lab and the Russian science is sad so the count throws him into the time machine and decides to ages him tills he’s just bones.

So the episode ends with the count holding romana and smash your doors in duggan hostage the doctor running back to the counts house the counts wife confused as hell that she’s been married to a 1 eyed green alien, and the counts plan coming together.
